More bath rugs! I was playing around with different sizes and proportions so there are 4 versions of these rugs. A lot of them look great as recolors, so feel free to do what you want with them. Sims4Studio is easy to use!
My only TOU is if you use these please let me see! It would be weird if you claimed creation of these, but I’m not going to freak out about it since it’s not like I hand knotted the rugs myself… but I would definitely wonder about you and the issues you might have … .
Please enjoy!
Bath rugs in 1x2 and 1x3 sizes. $50 simoleons, categorized as bath rugs, with appropriate swatches and thumbnails.
2x3 rectangular (same proportions as the wilderness rug from Outdoor Retreat) and 2x2 square bath rugs (squarish - cloned from basic kids’ rug) .
$50 simoleons, categorized as bath rugs, with appropriate swatches and thumbnails.
I really like navy blue, so when I was working on a few different projects I kept coming across all of these nautical themed images. I think summer must really be on my mind, because I’m not usually drawn to nautical decor, but I do have a Sim family it is perfect for … so here it is!
These are simple recolors of the Cordelia clawfoot tub, and all of the object attributes are the same (simoleons, hygiene scores, etc). They also have updated color tags.
I finished these a while ago but wanted to finish the curtains to upload at the same time. Decided today to throw ‘em up here, even though I’m still working on a couple more textures for shower curtains in the screenshots. I’ll upload those in a couple days, but tonight or tomorrow I do have a finished set of nautical shower curtains and rugs to post. Just getting all of the files organized and checking them to make sure I didn’t miss any thumbnails or anything.
Rug is $50 simoleons, tagged for bathroom and appropriate color swatches, has appropriate thumbnails, and works with the color tool.
I have lots of bath rugs and bath related items to upload in the next few days. Here are cotton textured bath rugs in sizes 2x1, 2x2, and 1x3 runner sizes.
They are all $50 simoleons, categorized as bathroom rugs, and have custom thumbnails and colors swatches,
Peacemaker IC creates some of my all time favorite walls, so I coordinated a lot of the colors with these. I use all of Peacemaker’s walls, more of which you can find here. I hope I’m crediting this the right way - it’s my first time linking back so if anything’s broken or if I missed any etiquette please let me know!
This project was one of my first attempts at meshing. First I tried to make an oval mesh frame for it and completely massacred it. Then I decided to simplify and go with a base game mesh. Turns out, I actually love the original frame texture with the images, but it was too big. So a while ago I attempted my first re-size in blender, and completely massacred that, too. I used the painting in a fairy tale castle build, but I still really wanted a smaller version to use in another little nursery. Then, just the other day, Orangemittens (over at Sims4Studio) posted a tutorial on how to scale down a painting. It is such a simple, common sense tutorial, it’s not even funny. I can’t believe how much time I wasted trying to figure it out on my own in such a ridiculous, round-about way! So, here is one of my all time favorite recolors, now in the perfect size for a nursery wall! Scales up nicely using shift + ] as well.
Environment 3, $295 simoleons. Original art by Kelli Murray at Etsy.
This is another project I started out making for a nursery, and it turns out I use it pretty often in Granite Falls and other lots, so maybe others will find it useful as well.
I’ll be honest: with all my years of playing all of the different versions of Sims, I still don’t get the Simlish alphabet. It seems like it is constantly changing, and within the game there are inconsistencies I don’t follow. Over the years I have tried several times to play around with community made Simfonts, which are all awesome, but every one is different. So, which is the “real” Simlish alphabet? I’m sure someone out there knows, but until I figure it out, I’ll keep making up my own Frankenstein letters. These have a larger texture so the text remains clear.
Home Sweet Home Wall Hanging
Original art by Melissa Kelman
3 English and Simlish prints with white frames; 2 Simlish prints with wood frames
I made this small set specifically to use in a build with two-story walls, so the texture is pretty sharp both in default size and placed with shift+]. It’s hard to tell in my terrible screenshots, but there are two swatches that are slightly different from each other, and with my graphics settings they are a little lighter and brighter in game. They can be placed together or separately. I find myself using them a lot more than I expected because they’re narrow and neutral, so I thought I might as well post them.
Double Canvas Paintings
Original Art by Benson-Cobb
Set of 2 Paintings - Environment 6 - $980 simoleons
This is one of the first recolors I made a few months ago. Since then I have seen a few Rifle Paper Co. items (including one that matches my phone case) but I haven’t come across these so I updated the tags and here it is.
I have several sets of art prints by a few different artists in a similar style, but I change them a lot in photoshop because I’m indecisive about how bright to make the white backgrounds. If anyone has an opinion about that, I’d love to hear it. I think I changed these ones at least 5 times over the past couple of months before settling on this shade of white that worked well in a recent build!
My screenshots aren’t great because it was just more convenient to take them on my Macbook today, even though I have weird graphics sometimes running it in bootcamp. But, these pictures still illustrate why I personally prefer white lights most of the time - I think it gives me more flexibility with the in game lighting options. So, I made alternatives to all of the pink lights in the game.
Scallop Lamp Download (set of 3 includes gold, brass, and silver/champage)
These are all super simple recolors and maintain all of the attributes of the original object in game - same categories, simoleons, etc. Thumbnails and color tags have been updated to match the recolors.
Sims4Studio is the best! And, just a general note, I really have a newfound respect for all of the creators out there that share their work. I love making stuff for the game, but I find taking screenshots and preparing the files takes way longer than I imagined and makes it way too easy to procrastinate uploading files! It just reminds me how much time you all put in, and I really appreciate it!!!

This is the first time I’m uploading content. I love making it, but I really make what I want for the families I’m playing, and I would rather finish a project than make it perfect. I love how these look in game, but this is one of the projects I babied to get all of the swatches I wanted in just a few files, so rose colored glasses. If you notice anything or have any problems, just let me know.
There is one red traditional rug that isn’t pictured. When I was putting together the screenshots, one of the red rugs looked really dark and I didn’t care for it, so I cut it out of the pictures and I was going to take it out of the set. Later, it grew on me in live mode, so I kept it in after all.
I wanted a selection of square rugs that included several styles of rugs in several colors in a minimum number of packages, because I don’t use square rugs excessively, but enough that I want a larger variety. The combinations may seem a little hodgepodge, but they fulfill exactly what I want - each set has at least one traditional and one modern rug in the general color family. I worked from a folder of images I collected for this project and I had way more of some colors than others so I distributed them across the group the best I could, but the collection sets aren’t exactly Pantone masterpieces :)
THANK YOU to Sims4Studio! I’ve been playing around with it for a few months now and I have created over 5gb of mostly simple recolors - rugs, pictures, window treatments, pillows, etc. I’m cleaning out my files, adding thumbnails to older stuff, and I’ll post whenever I have time if anyone has any use of the stuff.
